The Halloween Appraisals

There has been an influx of appraisal requests on the new Halloween Crate Items in the past 24 hours. Our typical policy is to wait a minimum of 72 hours from an item’s initial introduction before listing it on the Price Guide, which means many players are in the dark on what the price of these items will be. As a result, our item appraiser has opted to show these items on this page and update them in real-time until they are able to reach IPO (initial Public Offering) on the stock exchange, and thus on the Price Guide as well.

The list below shows the item name, the current trading price based on buying/selling in-game, as well as the appraisers estimation on what the IPO will end up being once it is released. Be advised, that you should apply the prefix calculation modifier to any item, as this was taken into account when the average prices were calculated.

Also, it should be noted that IPO’s are notorious for being over-valued at the beginning of their life. That means you should expect most prices to fall over time until they stabilize at a specific price point.

2023 Crate Item IPO Prices

Last Updated on October 26th, 2023 @ 10:49PM

Item NameCurrent Average PriceAnticipated IPO PriceAdditional Details
Deadman’s Brigand Figurehead$322,200.00$400k per pieceThis is essentially the same item as the Gargoyle Figurehead from last year. Use that item as a baseline. It’s worth noting that unlike the Gargoyle’s $1M cost to obtain last year, this year is half that at $610k, meaning there is more room for the price to drop if sellers want to. Holding onto this long-term is a bad idea as once you have one you don’t need another.
Wicked Binglehopper Upgrade$442,230.00$400k per pieceSame drop rate and mechanics as the Brigand Figurehead. Top end for this should be $610k as this is the cost to obtain. There is room for this to fall to as low as $300k in the long run, so if you can get a good price now, I suggest you do it ASAP. Long term value is questionable, but higher than the Brigand due to cost to make a Bingle being higher.
Wicked Cannon Conversion$44,375.0050k per piecePurchasable with 200 Premium Tokens directly from premium vendor. Prem price during the event was $236pp, so expect them to be around this price point long-term.
Assassin’s Crossbow$36,000.0020k per pieceFunctionally similar to a mini crossbow. Not likely to be a hot selling item, so get whatever you can for it.
Executioner’s Axe$195,000.00$50k per pieceNo remarkable price differences between double and single axes right now. Current prices are definitely spot bids and are note trustworthy.
10/26 – Item has seen far less demand than initially expected. Reducing the IPO value significantly. Will likely end up like Pitchforks with very low demand.
Trapshooter’s Blunderblaster$178,920.00$100k per pieceThe true cost to obtain a blunderblaster is $195k (db price to purchase a crate times average crates needed, minus peripheral earnings). More valuable because 5% chance to own. I’d half this as ranged weapons carry less glowy value than melee’s
Vicious Dagger$11,600.00$10k per pieceModel your price after the Kris and the Cleaver which are similar in value. Hard item to sell.
Vicious Sword$35,400.00$30k per pieceIt’s going to end up in a similar range as sabres or cutlasses. The drip effect is an unknown factor though, if it does anything extra or is just misleading buyers.
10/26 – Sellers are hesitant as this is probably the wildcard item for this crate. We stand by the original assessment for this item for the time being.
Wicked Scythe$53,375.00$50k per pieceWill get merged with the deprecated Scythe category from another release. Should follow the same path as Wicked Axes and (to some extent) Sledges in the long run.
10/26 – Item will be listed on the Stock Exchange and Price Guide under Scythe.
Wicked Spyglass$68,750.00$50k per pieceVanity item. Spyglasses were updated in 2023 so this is the year to get one. The earlier spyglasses which cost 1k prems will kill demand for this. That said, a nice one should sell for around $200k based on intrinsic costs to get one, and a really rare one should be worth around $350k which is the next deviation of value for this item (aka rare price).
Wicked Torch$200,000.00$200kUse Coldfire Torch for examples of how this will get priced in the future. Expect it to be low demand, but good material combinations will sell around $200k as we saw with last year’s version.
